Ecoforce Ltd repairs special asynchronous motor driven pumps:
Special feature of submersible asynchronous motors is that they normally work or are allowed to operate fully submerged in the pumped water.
Depending on the design, they are divided into two types:
Stator coil of submersible motors "wet stator - wet rotor" is wound with waterproof wires and insulation materials.
The rotor bearing in these engines is executed with two radial and one axial bearing. The axial bearing carries the rotor weight of the motor and pump and hydraulic imbalance of the pump.
The bearings are sliding and lubricated by fluid that fills the stator space.
To preserve the liquid during the service period stator space is pressurized by static and radial and/or mechanical seals. Volume expansions of liquid at different temperature regimens of the engine are compensated by volume compensator.
Stator coil of submersible "dry stator" motors is wound with enamelled wires. Stator space is secured against water penetration through static compactors, wheel, mechanical and/or radial seals. There are engines of this type, in which the stator space is filled with oil.
Most often the rotor bearing in these engines is executed with rolling bearings. The axial load in these engines is borne by radial bearings.
Overhaul of asynchronous motors for submersible, drainage and sewage pumps includes the following activities:
