Asynchronous generator or induction motor in generator mode?

Compared with asynchronous motors operating in generator mode asynchronous generators operate with higher efficiency 2-4% and cosφ - 5%. Asynchronous generators have better profitability, the price difference is refunded within 1-2 years due to better energy performance.

Production technology

Asynchronous generators are manufactured based on motor mode asynchronous machines of regular production. Asynchronous generators electrical part is designed with high energy performance in generator mode. In winding the recalculated coil is rewound with carefuly placed temperature sensors. Temperature monitor sensors are also placed in the stator yoke and bearings.

"Ecoforce" Ltd. develops three-phase asynchronous generators voltage 400V and capacitiy from 50 to 350 kVA, and two-phasic asynchronous generators voltage 230 V and capacity 2 to 15 kVA for hydropower plants (HPP).

Three-phased asynchronous generators most often work connected to the distribution network (in parallel).

Two-phased asynchronous generators are installed in micro hydropower plants (MHPP) and are used for electrical supply of disconnected from the electrical grid properties. Such as: huts, communication stations, residential and commercial buildings and other sites located near water sources - rivers, dams, aqueducts, canals, etc. Two-phased asynchronous generators are designed for autonomous operation as the quality of the electricity produced meets the requirements for domestic consumers, audiovisual equipment, computers and more.
